At Chapman’s Attallah College of Educational Studies, we offer teaching programs that integrate academic coursework and hands-on training. Upon graduation, you will be well prepared to put your skills into practice and find employment as an educator.

Majors

Liberal Studies major

Liberal Studies is a degree program for those who want to become elementary school or special education teachers. In the program, you will:

  • Learn how to teach diverse subjects such as reading, math and science.
  • Graduate with a bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies.
  • Become fully authorized to teach at the elementary level or in special education, after obtaining a teaching credential, with no need to take the CBEST or CSET.

Community Educational Studies major

Our Community Educational Studies (CES) major is a degree for those who want to work in education outside of the traditional classroom setting. Career paths include human resources professional, school counselor, speech pathologist, tutor and much more.
