Get a Bachelor’s + Master’s Degree in Just 5 Years

The Attallah College of Educational Studies offers an Integrated Program for the Master of Arts in Leadership Development (MLD) that allows students to begin graduate leadership coursework after earning 90 undergraduate credits, and earn their master’s degree within one year of completing their bachelor’s degree.


Discover Leadership with a Purpose

The Integrated Master of Arts in Leadership Development offers a transformative, interdisciplinary program that prepares students to engage in leadership for the common good of all.

Integrated MLD

Through the program, students will:

  • Increase self-awareness and develop a leadership vision to implement for the common good.
  • Develop leadership skills to facilitate collaboration among teams and groups with diverse identities, experiences, and perspectives.
  • Apply organizational and leadership theories and research to create systemic change to address small- and large-scale social challenges.
  • Critically examine leadership systems and structures and create spaces for equitable organizations, communities, schools, and institutions.

Admissions and Coursework

Building on their undergraduate studies, students in these programs enhance their expertise in learning and development, higher education, and community leadership, empowering them to strengthen their career prospects.

Integrated MLD

Up to 15 credits of graduate coursework may be taken while still an undergraduate, lowering the cost of the graduate program by up to 50%.

  • Bachelor’s degree students at Chapman may apply while undergraduates.
  • Begin master’s degree coursework after earning 90 undergraduate credits.
  • Complete the MA in Leadership Development within one year after your bachelor’s degree.

Application Deadlines


The final deadline to apply to the Integrated MA in Leadership Development program is Dec. 15, 2025, as all undergraduate seniors must be enrolled in graduate classes in spring 2026.
