Chapman University I Attallah College of Educational Studies

The Chapman Transfer Admission Guarantee (C-TAG) for Future Educators is designed for students at:

  • Santa Ana College (SAC)
  • Santiago Canyon College (SCC)
  • Irvine Valley College (IVC)

By completing the C-TAG Pathway courses at their community college with the specified GPA, students are guaranteed admission into Chapman’s Liberal Studies major, a program built for future elementary and special education teachers.

Why Liberal Studies at Chapman?

  • Broad exposure to core subjects for teaching in elementary and special education settings, with early field experiences
  • Waives CBEST and CSET exams for future elementary and special education teachers in California
  • Teacher credentialing options as undergraduates or in post-bachelor's programs

Are Financial Aid and Scholarships Available?

C-TAG applicants are reviewed for merit-based and need-based scholarships after an admission decision is made by the Office of Admissions. Domestic and International SAC students who have a 3.3 overall GPA or higher in all transferable classes and apply for admission by the priority application deadline for either spring or fall will be considered for a minimum $12,000 merit/academic scholarship. Merit scholarship consideration is based on college GPA and curriculum and is at the discretion of the Admission Committee at the time of the admission decision. Filing a FAFSA may be required for certain types of aid.
