New! Workshop Supporting Research, Scholarship and Creative Activities
We’re excited to announce a new workshop series designed to support faculty, graduate students, and post-doctoral researchers in every stage of their research journey. Whether you're just starting out or looking to broaden your funding and collaboration strategies, these workshops will offer practical tools to help you succeed.
Interdisciplinary AI Collaboration & Funding Workshop
Join your colleagues on May 11th from 12 PM to 1:30 PM (AF 206A) for our Interdisciplinary AI Collaboration & Funding workshop.
This 90-minute Interdisciplinary AI Collaboration & Funding Workshop convenes researchers to examine current AI funding priorities and build cross-disciplinary partnerships. The session features an expert panel on research priorities and funding strategy, followed by small-group breakout discussions to develop collaborative project ideas. Panelists and participants represent a broad range of disciplines across Chapman University, such as Engineering, Health, Business and Economics, Art, Policy, etc. Participants will briefly introduce their expertise and needs, time permitting, informed by a pre-workshop survey and shared funding opportunities. The objective is to generate concrete connections and early-stage concepts for competitive proposals.

Pre Award - Monthly
Our Pre-Award Services team will be hosting virtual office hours on the second Thursday of each month from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm. Please join us to ask any questions you may have related to pre-award and non-financial post-award issues (including but not limited to: searching for funding opportunities, applying for grants, determining eligibility, budget development, proposal preparation and submission, Just-In-Time submissions, award and subaward negotiation, prior approval requests, etc.).
