Computational and Data Scientists design and implement mathematical models and develop quantitative analysis techniques to analyze and solve complex scientific problems. Our mission is to provide graduates with innovative tools and a collaborative approach to meeting tomorrow’s societal challenges.

Chapman University offers both M.S. and Ph.D. programs in Computational and Data Sciences. In the M.S. program, you will work with distinguished faculty to develop and apply statistical, machine learning and AI approaches to address challenges in diverse fields including Medicine and Epidemiology, Climate and Earth Hazards, Big Data and High-Performance Computing, Drug Design, Genetics, Natural Language Processing, Bioinformatics and Biotechnology, Economics, Sports Analytics and others.
