Kiarah's bio

Kiarah is originally from a suburb of Sacramento, CA, and graduated from Loyola Marymount University (LMU) in 2023 with majors in Philosophy and Biology. As an undergraduate student, Kiarah served her LMU peers as a philosophy tutor, orientation leader, and peer mentor; positions oriented toward helping students have always been some of her favorite roles.

Following graduation from LMU, Kiarah went on to earn her Master’s in Social Sciences from the University of Chicago in 2024. Kiarah is excited now to be a part of the Chapman undergraduate admissions team and help prospective students and their families through the admissions process!

Advice from Kiarah

Cliché as it may be, do not be afraid to be your authentic self. Find and join the clubs you’re interested in, talk to classmates who you think you would get along with – all those kinds of things! While it can be difficult, you will only be able to find the people and communities who will love and respect you if you’re open to sharing that true self.
