» Faculty Conference Travel Grant Application

To support faculty research, scholarship, and the presentation of creative activity the faculty travel grant program will fund full time faculty travel to domestic and international conference presentations.

Please note that there is a $2500 maximum award for international travel and a $1500 maximum award for domestic travel. Given the college’s limited travel funds, priority will be given to tenure-track junior faculty. All applications will be reviewed by the applicant’s Department Chair, Associate Dean’s and Dean Keene.

General Information:

Applications for a faculty conference travel grant must be submitted to the dean’s office during the application window.

  • For Winter and Spring Conference Travel (January 1, through May 31, 2021), the application window for priority funding is September 5, 2020 through September 25, 2020. Notification of award decision by Friday, October 4, 2020.
  • For Summer and Fall Conference Travel (June 1, 2020 through Dec 31, 2021), the application window for priority funding is January 15, 2021 through February 28, 2021. Notification of award decision by Friday, March 6, 2021.

Application for conference travel outside the priority application window will receive secondary consideration for funding if funds remain.
