Mentorships
Whether they're in high school, pursuing an undergraduate degree, or completing graduate studies, students benefit from Dodge College mentorships through alumni-to-student and peer-to-peer connections that support success at the highest level.
College 101

The College 101 Mentorship Program is a college-readiness program for low-income high school students that runs from February to December each year. Produced in close collaboration with College Access Partnership, the program’s goal is to demystify the college admissions process for program participants, expose them to college life through on-campus sessions, and provide them with an opportunity for general guidance and camaraderie by pairing them with Chapman student mentors. A typical cohort includes 18-20 high school juniors, matched with five to six Chapman undergraduate mentors.
Dodge Insiders
Dodge Insiders is a student-led mentorship program designed to help freshmen and transfer
students successfully navigate life at Dodge College. With a network of 45+ experienced
student mentors, Dodge Insiders provides personalized guidance on everything from
selecting classes and securing internships to gaining hands-on experience on film
sets. The program fosters a supportive and collaborative community through one-on-one
mentorship, monthly events, and curated movie screenings that inspire creativity and
connection. Dodge Insiders is committed to empowering the next generation of storytellers
by equipping them with the knowledge, resources, and relationships needed to thrive
both academically and professionally.
Dodge Next Gen Mentorship Program

The Dodge Next Gen Mentorship Program is a special initiative that pairs Dodge undergraduate seniors with early career alumni working across industry-specific disciplines — from directing, writing, and producing to representation, brand strategy, gaming, and more. We have had alumni join us from A24, CAA, DreamWorks, Blumhouse, Legendary Pictures, Hulu, and Rockstar Games — just to name a few! The program is a one-year commitment and includes monthly one-on-one meetings between selected students and their alumni mentors. All eligible students must be undergraduate seniors graduating from Dodge College in the spring of their senior year. Selected students will be placed with best-matched alumni mentors on an application basis.
Dodge Next Gen Graduate Mentorship Program

Like its undergraduate counterpart, the Dodge Next Gen Graduate Mentorship Program matches rising second-year graduate students with Dodge alumni working across a variety of industry-specific disciplines. This program has a commitment of one academic year, beginning Fall 2026 through the end of Spring 2027, and includes monthly one-on-one meetings between selected students and their alumni mentors. All eligible students must be going into their second year of graduate studies at Dodge College. Selected students will be placed with best-matched alumni mentors on an application basis.
