Film Production (MFA)

» Master all aspects of film production through the use of storytelling, industry standard tools and best practices

We are excited to introduce our enhanced two-year MFA in Film Production. Carefully condensed from our previous three-year curriculum, our new program stands out with its mentoring-centric approach, granting students comprehensive, hands-on training in film production to provide a more streamlined educational experience. We embrace a variety of visual storytelling methods that equips students with industry-standard tools and practices essential for professional excellence.

Our revised academic calendar is key to maintaining the robustness of our program. It now includes a four-week interterm session during the first year and a summer session bridging the first and second years. These additional periods allow for continuous, immersive learning without compromising the depth of study or the quality of our graduates' education. Aspiring filmmakers will select a specialization in directing, cinematography, editing, or sound design at the time of their application. This focused path, combined with a dynamic curriculum, ensures that each student can cultivate their passion and expertise to the fullest.
