» Cirque du Soleil Entertainment and Technology Symposium

For two days, world-renowned performance powerhouse Cirque du Soleil will give students, faculty, and staff from Chapman and surrounding schools the opportunity to interface with their artisans, technicians, and partner companies through a unique series of master classes seen only at Chapman.

Classes will cover a wide range of topics including:

  • a variety of dance master classes
  • stage management
  • production management
  • automation
  • rigging
  • lighting
  • projections
  • carpentry
  • props
  • audio
  • wardrobe
  • makeup
  • wigs
  • and more!

Many Cirque du Soleil industry partners will also be on site to demonstrate their cutting edge technology and to offer hands-on classes. The symposium will also feature a private screening of the “Nerve Center KA” including a Q&A with all of the Cirque du Soleil instructors.
