How to Apply

»How to Apply—BA in Dance

  1. Follow the Chapman application process and submit your Common Application.Since your application also requires a Creative Supplement, we recommend first-year students applying to the fall apply submit their application by November 1. 
  2. Submit your Creative Supplement materials through your Application Status Page. You’ll gain access to your Application Status Page within 48 hours of submitting the Common Application.
  3. Wait. (This is when we’ll review your application and materials.) Select applicants will be invited to a live audition session (which are offered in person and virtually). At the live audition you will be able to meet faculty and current students and participate in a Q & A. 
  4. Receive your final admission decision.

Creative Supplement Materials

All Dance applicants must submit a Creative Supplement. Your Creative Supplement is a showcase of your creative skills and talents.

Talent Awards

Talent Awards are scholarships that are given to recognize outstanding talent, skill and dedication.

Talent Award funding is determined by the department during review of the Creative Supplement, Pre-Screen Requirements and live audition session. No additional paperwork or scholarship application is required.
