Fall 2025 productions
Musco Dance Residency Series Performance Opportunity
Location: Musco Main Stage
Date: Saturday, October 18, 2025
Time: 7:30 p.m.
Students involved: BA and BFA sophomore, junior and senior Dance majors
- A performance opportunity attached to the Musco Dance Residency Series.
- The Musco Dance Residency Series is a series of master classes and lectures from professional
dance companies.
- Fall 2025 dance majors will perform a work by Dwight Rhoden the same evening as Complexion
Dance Company.
New Collaborations: Faculty and First Year Showcase
Location: Fish Interfaith Center
Date: Thursday, November 13, 2025
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Students involved: All first-year Dance majors
- Showcase for all first-year dance students performing to Bach’s cello suite played
by Professor Yoshi Masuda.
- Faculty choreographers for 2025 are Megan Doheny, Addison Ector, Krystal Matsuyama-Tsai,
Julianne O’Brien, Dwight Rhoden and Jessica Torres.
Fall Faculty Dance Concert
Location: Musco Center Main Stage
Date: Thursday and Friday, November 20–21, 2025
Time: 7:30 p.m.
Students involved: BA and BFA sophomore, junior and senior Dance majors
- A dance concert showcasing choreography by Chapman faculty.
- Faculty choreographers for 2025 are Stephanie Liapis, Dwight Rhoden, Steven Sofia,
Ido Tadmor, Azuki Umeda and Amanda White.
- Styles represented are ballet, jazz, contemporary and modern dance.
Masters at Chapman: Fashion
Location: Waltmar Theatre
Date: Saturday, December 6, 2025
Time: 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Students involved: BA and BFA sophomore, junior and senior Dance majors
- The theme for the Masters at Chapman concert changes annually. Themes are crafted
to create interdisciplinary experiences for the dancers and audience.
- The 2025 theme of Fashion looks at fashion and costume design in dance environments.
- Chapman Dance majors will perform in works byErica Klein, Diana Matos, Mark Morris/Noah
Vincent, Ido Tadmor and the movement of Martha Graham.
Spring 2026 productions
Works in Progress
Location: Sandi Simon Center for Dance
Date: Friday–Sunday, February 6–8, 2026
Time: 1 p.m., 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Students involved: BA and BFA first year, sophomore, junior and senior Dance majors. Dance minors.
- An intimate and informal dance performance showcasing the works of emerging Chapman
sophomore choreographers.
- Dialogue with the choreographers follows the performance.

choreographed by Martha Graham on the same evening as the Martha Graham Dance company
in Musco.
