Chapman University Wind Symphony musicians in the Musco Center for the ArtsThe Chapman Conservatory woodwind, brass, and percussion faculty are delighted to invite your students to apply for participation in this rewarding and intensive day of music-making. We look forward to welcoming you and your outstanding students!

Chapman University's Honor Band Festival will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020 in the Musco Center for the Arts. Students selected for the Honor Band Festival will participate in a day-long event, which will offer pre-professional training led by Southern California’s preeminent wind and brass faculty.

Nomination Information

Participants will be selected based on their musical accomplishments, contribution to their respective programs, and their director’s recommendation.  Directors should email the completed application form to honorband@chapman.edu (one form per student).

To be considered, nominations must be received by Friday, December 13, 2019.  Accepted students and their directors will be notified via email.

Due to the overwhelming response to last year’s event we will be limiting participation.  The earliest applications will be considered first.
