Application

Complete the electronic application and download or mail/email your complete application to lawplus@chapman.edu.

  • Character and Fitness: If you answered “yes” to any of the questions in this section, please attach a brief addendum for each affirmative answer. Character and fitness disclosures will not necessarily preclude you from participating in the program. This is an element of all law school applications, and it is important to provide complete and accurate information.
  • It is your responsibility to make sure your application package is complete. Incomplete applications will not be considered for review.
Important Note: You MUST download and save the forms to your computer BEFORE opening them with Adobe in order for them display and submit properly. When saved and opened correctly, you will see a purple bar with a "submit form" button at the top of the form and red outlining for mandatory form fields.

Personal Statement

In a 2-page, double-spaced, 12 pt Times New Roman essay. Respond to the following prompt:

  • Discuss a challenge you faced and how overcoming it helped prepare you to succeed in the future.

Resume

Resumes may include employment history, education, academic awards and honors, volunteer and community service, and/or leadership experience.

Transcripts

Submit transcripts from all higher education institutions attended. May be official or unofficial.

Letter of Recommendation

Letter should come from a reference who can speak to your professionalism, work ethic, academic strengths and leadership. A strong letter will discuss aptitude and potential for success in the program and as a future lawyer.
