Biography
Tina Ching comes to Chapman University and the Fowler School of Law from Stanford Law School, where she was the Associate Director for Technical Services at the Robert Crown Law Library. In that role, she provided vision, leadership and management for the library's acquisitions, cataloguing, print and electronic resources.
Prior to her appointment at Stanford, she was Senior Librarian at the University of Oregon Law School, where she was a member of the research and instructional team for the law library. Previous positions include Reference and Electronic Services Librarian at the Seattle University School of Law and at the Arizona State University Law Library.
Over the course of her career, she has taught Advanced Legal Research, Online Advanced Legal Research, and Technology Competence for the Practice of Law. A frequent presenter at American Association of Law Librarians Annual Meetings, she has held a number of AALL national committee appointments and authored notes and various publications on technical and policy matters for law libraries.
Tina Ching holds a BA from Willamette University, a JD from the University of Oregon, and an MLIS from the University of Washington.
