Biography

Hello—I am an avid Lecturer instructing ENG 103: Rhetoric and Composition ("Rhetoric of Monsters" and "Social Media Rhetorics"). My compositional and research interests center monster theory (with a special focus on vampirology and vampire fiction/folklore), creative, cultural, and rhetorical analysis of popular media, LGBTQ+ topics, new media, ludic pedagogy, and accommodations-centric educational practices.

I am a Chapman University alum, having earned my BFA in Creative Writing, MFA in Creative Writing, and MA in English from Wilkinson College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences. Throughout this period, I wore a variety of hats, including: Graduate Student Instructor of Rhetoric and Composition; Fiction/Art Editor, Layout Designer, and Managing Editor for Ouroboros Speculative Literary & Visual Art Magazine; Communications Assistant & Content Writer for Fowler School of Engineering (FSE); and Administrative Assistant for the Center for Undergraduate Excellence (CUE).

When not in the classroom, you might find me baking, writing, or GMing for various tabletop groups.
