Biography
As co-founder of Apples & Oranges with his wife, Broadway actress Pamela Winslow Kashani, Tim Kashani cultivates an ecosystem where creative and technical talents unite to
craft innovative stories and solutions. Tim treats storytellers as entrepreneurs,
empowering them with resources to succeed. Today, Apples & Oranges Arts and Apples
& Oranges Venture Studio form a cohesive vision guided by an “Incubate, Educate, Accelerate”
framework for creative development. Apples & Oranges harmonizes technology and storytelling
to uplift humanity.
Drawing upon over four decades of pioneering experience with Artificial Intelligence
(AI), Kashani and his team launched StorIAccelerator (formerly THEatre ACCELERATOR),
harnessing AI, Extended Realities (XR), and emerging technologies to revolutionize
storytelling. His latest transmedia project, Earth 3.0, exemplifies this vision by
blending humor, sci-fi, and heartfelt storytelling to unite and inspire audiences
to imagine — and create — a better world.
On Broadway, Kashani produced Tony Award-winning musicals HAIR, Memphis, and An American in Paris. He directed the filmed stage musicals Emma and No One Called Ahead, pioneering new development and distribution models for emerging voices. He recently
co-wrote and directed Winter Lights: A Musical Spectacular, which debuted at Discovery Cube OC and continues delighting audiences of all ages.
As founder of IT Mentors, Kashani has spent decades architecting global technology
training solutions, guiding major corporations including Microsoft, Morgan Stanley,
Credit Suisse, and UBS to strategically adopt training and emerging technologies.
His approach ensures that humanity remains at the forefront of digital innovation.
Kashani earned a Bachelor of Science in Information and Computer Sciences from University
of California, Irvine, returning later to complete his MBA there. He also holds an
MFA in film production, specializing in directing, from Chapman University.
