Biography
Hello! I’m a lecturer in the Department of English at Chapman University, where I teach ENG 103: Mindfulness Rhetorics, a First-Year Composition course that fulfills the Written Inquiry GE. I’m particularly interested in how mindfulness concepts and practices can support the writing process and, more broadly, student well-being.
I earned both my MFA in Creative Writing and MA in English at Chapman, as well as my BA in Journalism and Political Science from the University of Southern California. I consider myself a proud member of the Panther community, and few things make me happier than walking across campus each week and reconnecting with past students and colleagues. When not teaching, you can find me exercising, reading, writing, listening to music, and, of course, meditating!
