Biography
Dr. Karl Hess is an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Chapman University School of Pharmacy (CUSP). Dr. Hess earned his PharmD from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Sciences in Boston in 2005. He subsequently completed a PGY1 community pharmacy residency at the University of Southern California in 2006 and a Master of Business Administration from Chapman University in 2026.
At CUSP, Dr. Hess course coordinates and lectures on self-care therapeutics, pharmacy practice management, and entrepreneurship/business development. Dr. Hess' areas of academic and research interests include pharmacy operations and management, the development and implementation of community pharmacy services, and self-care therapeutics and is specifically interested in the advancement of community pharmacy practice.
