Biography

Dr. Judy Weng is a proud alumna of Chapman University School of Pharmacy (CUSP), where she completed the APEx program and earned both her Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pharmaceutical Sciences degrees. She also holds a teaching certificate from CUSP, reflecting her strong commitment to excellence in pharmacy education. Dr. Weng is excited to return to her alma mater as a lecturer and to contribute to the education and mentoring of future healthcare professionals.

In addition to teaching at Chapman University, Dr. Weng is an Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Marshall B. Ketchum University College of Pharmacy, where she teaches pharmacology and pathophysiology across a range of therapeutic areas, including the central nervous system, oncology, and infectious diseases. Her teaching emphasizes integration of foundational science with clinical relevance to prepare student pharmacists for contemporary practice.

Dr. Weng’s research interests focus on elucidating the underlying mechanisms of ocular disorders. Her work on dry eye disease has been published in high-impact journals within ophthalmology and related biomedical fields. Through both teaching and research, she is dedicated to advancing student learning and scientific discovery.
