Jeremie Loncka

Jeremie Loncka is a Los Angeles-based actor, director, and teaching artist. A proud alumnus of Chapman University’s BFA program, he currently serves as Director of Programming for the award-winning, internationally recognized Actors’ Gang Prison Project, which he helped establish in 2010.

For the last fifteen years, Jeremie has partnered with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation to develop and expand a theatrical curriculum designed to offer incarcerated participants acting tools intended to foster self-esteem, empathy, and nonviolent artistic expression. He currently oversees programming across fourteen prisons, two reentry centers, and three youth facilities, supporting a teaching team that includes fifteen formerly incarcerated teaching artists.

As a member of The Actors’ Gang Theatre Company since 2010, Jeremie has toured nationally and internationally, collaborating with acclaimed directors including Dominique Serrand and Georges Bigot. His film credits include We Live On, directed by Academy Award winner Tim Robbins, and 45 Seconds of Laughter, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival.

Recent directing credits include the original works Knock Knock, Two Angels, and (Im)migrants of the State, a devised production created in partnership with thirteen alumni of the Prison Project.
