Biography

Eva Finn has had more than 25 years of experience in both advertising agencies and Fortune 500 companies as an advertising, marketing, public relations, communications and social media writing professional. As a copywriter at agencies that included Saatchi & Saatchi LA, Young & Rubicam, O’Leary & Partners and DGWB, she has worked on high-profile advertising campaigns for Toyota Motor Sports, the Los Angeles Public Library, In-N-Out Burger, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Sempra Energy and the Orange County Rescue Mission, to name a few. As the Global Publications and Social Media Manager for Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, she created groundbreaking social media campaigns for Real Living Real Estate. She has taught advertising, copywriting and communications courses at California State University, Fullerton and the Art Institute of California, Orange County.

Being an effective presenter is also one of her passions. She completed her Toastmasters Public Speaking certification and loves to share techniques that she learned with her students. She also taught a Presentation Skills Bootcamp at the University of California, Irvine for the Paul Merage School of Business. She believes in preparing her students for the real world of advertising by helping them to develop their storytelling, presenting and creative skills. She loves to travel, cook, read, write fiction and poetry and practice yoga and meditation.

Eva began teaching at Dodge College of Film and Media Arts in 2021 and serves as the Task Force Leader of the soon-to-be rolled out Dodge Insider Peer-to-Peer Student Mentoring Program.
