Biography

Charles Howard is a 25-year veteran of the film, television and new media industry. An award-winning executive producer, he has led cross-functional production teams and agency partners in delivering innovative, integrated projects for both entertainment and Fortune 500 clients. His expertise spans multi-platform media strategies, production management, interactive content, game development, digital applications, mobile and immersive technologies, post-production and social media marketing.

His film and TV credits include Comic View, Johnny Skidmarks, Spark, Sliders, Pacific Blue, Dead at 21, The Huntress, The X-Files, The Seat Filler and Alien III, among others.

A graduate of Loyola Marymount University’s MFA program in Film Production, Howard now teaches producing and production management classes. He is a frequent guest lecturer for Film Independent’s Artist Development initiatives and also develops and leads international producing master classes in Brazil, Taiwan and Jordan.

For more than 15 years, Howard has held leadership roles with the Producers Guild of America, serving on the national board, chairing committees, and contributing to key industry initiatives.
