Biography

Carmichael Peters (Ph.D., Graduate Theological Union/University of California, Berkeley) is Assistant Professor of Religious Studies. In addition to a number of scholarly articles, Dr. Peters has written A Gadamerian Reading of Karl Rahner's Theology of Grace and Freedom (New York/Oxford: Catholic Scholars Press, 2000). He teaches courses in Buddhism, comparative religions, philosophical hermeneutics, philosophical and political theology, and philosophy of religion.
