Benjamin-Shalom Rodriguez

Ben/Bo Rodriguez is an artist, media creator, educator and co-founder of Collaborative Media Studios (America’s Next Top Immigrant, Stoned Breakups). He began his career as an assistant to the head of comedy development at ROAR. Next came a role working for the Academy Award-winning producers at Double Feature Films (Django Unchained). He later developed the West Coast talent arm of LatinWE, Sofia Vergara’s management and production company, where he helped some of Latin America’s biggest stars crossover into English-language markets, and subsequently became the features director of development for the Lionsgate and Universal Television-backed 3Pas Studios.

Rodriguez has developed TV, feature and comedy projects with Sony, Disney, Fox, CBS and Comedy Central, and has been supported by grants from Ryan Murphy, the Sundance Institute and Film Independent.

In addition to Dodge College, he has taught courses at the Sundance Institute and Film Independent.
