Biography

Atanas Radenski is Professor Emeritus of Computer Science at Chapman University, California. His expertise includes parallel and distributed computing, programming languages and paradigms, and computer science education. He has held research grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and other agencies, and has been recognized with a Fulbright Scholar Award and the R. J. Reynolds Distinguished Professorship.

Professor Radenski is the author of six technical books and over seventy scholarly publications, including journal articles, book chapters, conference proceedings, and theses. His research has spanned high-performance computing, big data and cloud computing, object-oriented and functional programming, and databases, as well as e-learning and computer science pedagogy. He is also the author of three books of fiction.
