The focus of the B.M. in Performance – Wind and Brass is training for solo, chamber, and orchestral experience. Some of the most important elements that students must demonstrate prior to graduation are fluent musicianship skills that include: performance as both a soloist as well as working as part of an ensemble, students must employ pedagogical techniques and skills relevant to their instrument, as well as an understanding of music theory and proficiency in aural skills.
