The B.M. in Performance with an emphasis on Conducting at Chapman University is a unique program offering the undergraduate hands-on experience on a weekly basis that involves conducting. Curriculum concentrates on score study & analysis, score reading, aural skills, repertoire, gestural analysis, and rehearsal techniques. The culmination of the program is the senior recital, a public concert that is the student must plan, rehearse, and conduct with one of the large instrumental ensembles.
