Students majoring in Dance Performance must demonstrate proficiency in the technique and performance of ballet, modern, and jazz dance. They must also demonstrate a proficient knowledge in the areas of choreographic principles and concepts, as well as a substantial knowledge of dance theory, history, culture, science and pedagogy.
