Kimberly Olmos was born in El Paso, TX and began her studies in Torrance, CA with Diane Lauridsen. Kimberly studied with Gloria Newman, Gus Soloman and Rebecca Wright while earning her B.A. in Dance from California State University, Long Beach. She retired from Ballet Pacifica in 1994, where she had performed ballets by Peter Pucci, Anne Marie DeAngelo, Choo-San Goh, Lynn Taylor-Corbett, Jacques Heim and Molly Lynch. Kimberly was on the conservatory faculty for 8 years and assumed the position of Ballet Pacific Conservatory Registrar in 2004. Kimberly is currently on the faculty at the Maple Conservatory of Dance in Irvine and the Director of Student Management. She is also Ballet Mistress for Backhausdance, Orange County's award-winning contemporary dance company. Kimberly currently lives in Mission Viejo with her husband James and three sons, Evan, Kyle and Jordan.
