Biography

Kimberly Olmos was born in El Paso, TX, and began her studies in Torrance, CA, with Diane Lauridsen. Kimberly studied with Gloria Newman, Gus Soloman and Rebecca Wright while earning her BA in Dance from California State University, Long Beach. She retired from Ballet Pacifica in 1994, where she performed ballets by Peter Pucci, Anne Marie DeAngelo, Choo-San Goh, Lynn Taylor-Corbett, Jacques Heim and Molly Lynch. Kimberly joined the faculty of the Maple Conservatory of Dance in Irvine and assumed the position of Director of Student Management in 2009. She is currently the administrative assistant for Backhausdance, Orange County's award-winning contemporary dance company.
