The Adult Learning Lab is an environment in which graduate student clinicians and faculty supervisors learn side by side. Graduate student clinicians provide diagnostic and intervention services to adults while receiving personalized supervision by faculty. The lab is available each trimester for adults with acquired cognitive communication disorders. Graduate student clinicians provide free diagnostic and intervention services to adults while receiving personalized supervision by faculty. 

Services

We provide evaluation and treatment for individuals and groups seeking help with:

  • Speech (Apraxia and Dysarthria)
  • Language (Aphasia)
  • Dysphagia
  • Voice
  • Cognition (for adult participants with acquired neurological diagnoses)

Hearing screenings are completed on all new clients and once annually for returning participants. Referrals are made for follow up if participant fails the screening.
