  • Research funding for our physical therapy students, as well as hands-on training programs, like Stroke Boot Camp
  • Travel for physical therapy students to national and international meetings and conferences so they can present their research

Stoke Boot Camp Fund

Supports hands-on physical therapy graduate student training in an intensive, pro-bono interdisciplinary treatment program for chronic stroke survivors. Funds will be used to support all aspects of the program, including staff stipends, costs of operations, marketing, and faculty and staff research associated with the boot camp.

Physician Assistant Research & Professional Development Fund

Gifts to the Physician Assistant Research & Professional Development Fund support innovations in teaching and learning, expanded simulation experiences, technology enhancements, student and faculty training and development, faculty-mentored student research projects, annual CAPA (California Academy of Physician Assistants) membership dues, and student travel to national conferences.

This fund supports the dual mission of the Frances Smith Center for Individual and Family Therapy to provide:

  • high quality, affordable mental health services to the local community
  • an excellent training and research environment to the graduate students in the Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) program at Chapman University

Our capital campaign supports the infrastructure needed to transform Chapman University into a nationally regarded health sciences institution, where:

We have redesigned the 166,000 square-foot Harry and Diane Rinker Health Science Campus to promote technologically sophisticated, inter-professional, team-based primary care for graduate health science programs in Physical Therapy, Communication Sciences & Disorders, Physician Assistant Studies and Pharmacy.
