Your ability to use the studios and equipment safely and effectively is essential to your art education. This quick guide serves as a key resource for students, faculty, and staff.

Practice Safety and Create Confidently. 

All students are required to participate in safety and equipment training before working with chemicals, tools, or machinery in the studios. Students have training opportunities that include:

  • Working directly with your professors in the classroom to receive equipment training and safety instruction.
  • Enrolling in 1-credit courses led by our Studio Manager that combines working with Studio Art equipment and safety training.
  • Receive one-on-one training with our Studio Manager by appointment. Appointments can be arranged utilizing the following calendly link:https://calendly.com/lorenaochoa
  • Complete on-line assessment modules.
