Director's Bio

Derek Woods, a native of California, graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, with a B.A. in Film Studies. Having directed several shorts ranging from documentaries to mockumentaries, Derek's love for filmmaking goes beyond any specific genre or style. His previous film, Making a Killing, has screened at several festivals, such as the Charleston Film Festival, Ojai Film Festival, Oxford Film Festival, and L.A. Shorts Fest. Derek interned for Low Key Pictures in Hollywood before graduating this year from Chapman University's Dodge College of Film and Media Arts with an M.F.A. in Film Production.
