Recruitment of Undergraduate Students
In addition to regular workshops for students on getting involved in research and creative activities, CUE offers several resources to help with recruiting undergrads to join your research group or identify you as a mentor for creative activities:
- Faculty mentor directory: CUE maintains a faculty mentor directory for students to find potential mentors. Please add or update your information here!
- Faculty Research and Creative Scholars Expo: CUE holds an expo each year at the beginning of fall semester, which is designed as a place for faculty to showcase opportunities for undergraduates to get involved.
- Lunch with a professor week: CUE hosts lunch with a professor week each semester, where students can invite faculty to a free lunch in the dining hall! We recommend advertising this program to your classes and encouraging groups of students to invite you. It’s a great chance for students to get to know you and for you to highlight opportunities for students to get involved with research and creative activities with you! Read more and sign up here.
