»Clery Act - Daily Crime & Fire Log

Public Safety maintains a daily crime and fire log, documenting incidents within our geographical area of responsibility. The crime log includes the nature of the crime, the date it was reported, the date and time of occurrence, the general location, and the complaint’s disposition, if known. The fire log records on-campus residential fires reported to Public Safety.

Reports are entered or updated within two business days of receiving information. While the Daily Crime Log includes all reported crimes, certain details may be temporarily withheld if their disclosure could jeopardize an ongoing investigation, compromise individual safety, aid in suspect evasion, or result in evidence destruction. Information will be released once the risk has passed. Additionally, updates are not required after 60 days from the initial entry.
