»Academic Dance Programs
The Department of Dance at Chapman offers two bachelor’s degree programs and one minor:
All potential Chapman dance students must first apply to the BA in Dance program. Once enrolled as a Dance major, students may apply to the BFA in Dance program in the spring of their sophomore year.
Additionally, the College of Performing Arts offers several minors in music. These opportunities enable students to explore additional interests and enhance
their performance skills.
Admission Information
If you apply to Chapman as a Dance major, you must submit the Common Application.
You must then submit both a Creative Supplement and pre-screen audition materials specifically to the Department of Dance.
For more information on applying and submitting materials, see our Dance Application Process page.
