University Program Board was founded in 2011 when Associated Students, the previous governing and programming body, split into University Program Board and Student Government Association. In our first year, University Programming Board hosted fifty-two programs and created a foundation of community and pride for Chapman.
By Fall 2013, University Program Board had developed their internal structure comprising of five committees, which still exist today. In Fall 2015, Campus Entertainment and Leisure was introduced as the newest committee providing weekday programming for students between classes. In Fall 2017, Internal Development was formed implementing developmental opportunities for Committee Members and planning University Program Board’s Friday meetings.
As University Program Board continues to develop and adjust to meet the changing needs of Chapman, our mission and values have always remained the same:

The University Program Board strives to enhance the overall experience at Chapman University by actively engaging students with entertaining and community-oriented programs throughout the academic year. The board provides opportunities for participation in the implementation of its programs in order to integrate the varied needs of the Chapman community.
