The Office of Research has been delegated authority to review, negotiate and endorse sponsored projects, including negotiating terms and conditions. All sponsored projects awards contain terms and conditions; it is essential that the PI read, understand and follow them. The terms and conditions are either attached to the award document or incorporated by reference. Terms and conditions also apply to sub-recipients, so be sure that these personnel understand their contractual obligations.
