Master of Arts in Teaching Program

MA in Special Education

Chapman University’s Special Education program offers an MA in Special Education and the opportunity to earn one or more California teaching credentials, including Preliminary Multiple Subject, Education Specialist Mild Moderate Support Needs (MMSN), and Education Specialist Extensive Support Needs (ESN).

With just two years of full-time study, graduates of Chapman University's joint credential Special Education program obtain an MA in Special Education and two teaching credentials: Preliminary Multiple Subject and Preliminary Education Specialist Mild Moderate Support Needs.
