At Chapman University’s Attallah College of Educational Studies, faculty mentorship is a cornerstone of the School Counseling and School Psychology program. Dr. Kelly Kennedy

Associate Professor
Director, School Counseling and School Psychology Programs

Dr. Kelly Kennedy oversees the graduate programs in school psychology and school counseling at Attallah College. She teaches courses in school psychology practicum and internship (fieldwork), group counseling, multicultural counseling, assessment, program evaluation, and research methods. Dr. Kennedy has also led international travel courses to Guatemala, Cambodia, and Vietnam. In addition to mentoring M.A. and Ed.S. students, she supports Ph.D. in Education students as a mentor, dissertation chair, and committee member.

Dr. Randelle Kirkemo

Dr. Randelle (Randee) Kirkemo, Ed.D., is the assistant director of the School Counseling program and an instructional assistant professor at Chapman University’s Attallah College of Educational Studies. She brings over a decade of experience as a K-12 school counselor, and her research focuses on trauma-informed practices and the role of school counselors in creating healing-centered school environments.

Dr. Amy Jane Griffiths, Ph.D., NCSP, is a licensed clinical psychologist and Nationally Certified School Psychologist. She is an associate professor in the Attallah College of Educational Studies and assistant director of the Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) program. Dr. Griffiths is also a research affiliate at the Thompson Policy Institute on Disability and serves on the faculty of the Ph.D. in Education program.
