The Master of Medical Sciences (MMS) PA Studies Program at Chapman University’s Crean College of Health and Behavioral Sciences is a 24-month, full-time program designed to provide an exceptional medical education that inspires compassionate and collaborative physician assistants who enhance access to high-quality patient care.

  • State of the art facilities at Chapman’s Rinker Campus provide students with simulated patient cases in multiple clinical environments across several areas of care.
  • Room 103, Chapman’s simulated emergency department, features multiple simulation stations equipped with mannequins and supplies for an interactive learning environment.

By the Numbers

National Certification Eligibility

Graduates will be eligible to sit for the national certification examination through the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). 

Once nationally certified, graduates of Chapman University’s PA program will be eligible to apply for state licensure to the applicable state licensing body. 

Please note: Successful completion of the program does not itself ensure certification and/or licensure.
