Engineering Internships

» Engineering Internships

For Fowler students, internships provide hands-on experience that bridges classroom learning with real-world applications.

You might explore how companies drive innovation, how national labs shape industries, or how non-profits leverage technology for social impact.

Whatever branch of engineering you pursue, this page will help you brainstorm, search, and plan for an ideal internship(s) that aligns with your interests and your academic/career goals.

Carolina Caraballo Vélez ‘26
Computer science major with a minor in game development
“My internship at Ingram Micro highlighted the critical role of teamwork in engineering. Collaborating with teams like Infrastructure and Data Analytics deepened my understanding of enhancing user experience, and the skills I gained from my courses at Fowler prepared me to brainstorm, execute ideas, and excel as a team member.”

Getting started

You can do an internship as early as your second semester, but feel free to start your search as early as you’d like!

Viola Kalinin ‘23
