RESEARCH INTERESTS

Dr. Joshi's research lies at the intersection of computer architecture, machine learning, and human-centered assistive technology. His earlier work focused on designing efficient and intelligent edge AI systems for resource-constrained devices, exploring how optimization and architectural innovation can enable advanced decision-making at the edge. Building on this foundation, he is currently applying similar principles of efficiency and intelligent system design to the development of assistive technologies. Specific project under investigation includes the design and development of an affordable RBD and designing STEM-based educational games using RBDs and haptic feedback for early elementary school children with blindness and visual impairment (BVI). His teaching interests include Digital Logic Design, Computer Organization, FPGA Design, CMOS VLSI Design, Electronics and Circuit Design, Computer Architecture, Data Management, and Introduction to Machine Learning.
