»We Get It. Parking Can Be a Pain.

All it takes is a few seconds to double-check that you're parking mindfully.

Most streets around campus have permitted parking for those residents only. Yes, this also means that you can't bring your own permit to park closer to campus and walk over.

Your neighbors will appreciate your thoughtfulness, and who couldn't use a few extra brownie points or an extra parking spot for that matter?

Parking Reminders

  • Make sure you are parking fully in your driveway, not blocking any sidewalks. This can make things difficult to navigate for people using wheelchairs or strollers.
  • Remember, parking is free on campus! Please do not park in permitted areas surrounding campus, even if you have a permit. This is against Chapman’s parking policy. 
  • Instead of parking a vehicle on your lawn, use your driveway or parking space in front of your home.
  • If there are any inactive vehicles, park them on the driveway.
  • Take your neighbors or roommates into consideration by leaving space for others to park, too.
