Thank you to all SoCal Swing 2022 participants! We are looking forward to hosting you on our campuses from Sunday, February 6, 2022 to Thursday, February 10, 2022.
As you begin to plan your trip, it is very important that you review the following
information and instructions.
Vaccine Requirement
Please note that SoCal Swing guidelines require all attendees to be vaccinated. While we will not require proof of vaccination to attend, we trust your willingness to abide by this policy and thank you in advance for your cooperation.
Travel Arrangements
- We ask that you contactour travel agent via email to make arrangements by September 24, 2021.
- Please do not contact our travel agent until you are absolutely certain that you do not have any conflicts in your schedule that will require you to cancel after tickets have been purchased.
- When you are ready to make travel arrangements, please contact Corporate Travel Planners (CTP) via email at sandiego@ctp-travel.com.
- When emailing CTP your request, please make sure to include that you are with the SoCal Swing Counselor Fly-in Programandthe employee who authorized the air or train tickets at USD isMinh-Ha Hoang.
- If you do need to make changes to your airfare itinerary, please contact CTP directly and not the airline.
- Although email is strongly preferred, if needed the phone number is (855) 446-4365. CTP’s offices will be open Monday through Friday from 5 a.m.-5 p.m. PST.
Travel Details
Our program will begin at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 6. The travel agent has been instructed to make arrangements for you to arrive in Los Angeles no later than 5 p.m.
Our program will conclude on Thursday, February 10 at approximately 3:00 p.m. in San Diego after your visit with the University of San Diego.
Please note that when you arrive in Los Angeles you will be responsible for arranging and paying for transportation to the hotel in Marina Del Rey. All other transportation during the tour will be provided for you, including from University of San Diego to San Diego International Airport on Thursday, February 10 at the conclusion of the program.
We will be sending a list of participants prior to the start of the program, if you would like to connect before traveling to Los Angeles to make carpool arrangements for those of you with similar arrival times.

Sunday, February 6
- Arrival in Marina Del Rey, CA
- Welcome Dinner with all four universities at 6:30 p.m.
Monday, February 7
- Pepperdine University campus visit
Tuesday, February 8
- Loyola Marymount University campus visit
- Late afternoon departure to Orange County
Wednesday, February 9
- Chapman University campus visit
- Late afternoon departure to your hotel in San Diego, CA
Thursday, February 10
- University of San Diego campus visit
- Program concludes at approximately 3:00 p.m.
- Attendees will depart for San Diego International Airport following the program unless they have made personal arrangements to stay longer in Southern California
