»Chapman Annual Open House
Chapman Annual Open House is our campus-wide event for prospective first-year and transfer students, as well as their families. Attendees will be able to learn more about Chapman through:
- Meet faculty and academic staff: learn more about your program interests and get answers to your questions.
- Talk to current students: hear firsthand what it’s like to be a part of the Chapman community.
- Tour campus and residence halls: experience the spaces where you’ll live, study and connect.
- Visit facilities: see resources that support learning and creativity.
-
Discover campus life: explore clubs, organizations, and ways to get involved.
In addition, continental breakfast, snack stations and a free lunch at our dining hall or a food truck will be available for guests.

Registering for Open House and Kick-off Session
You can arrive anytime during the event to explore campus.
However, to make the most of your day, we suggest attending a kick-off session, “Your Future at Chapman,” featuring Chapman’s President, Matthew J. Parlow. The session will be offered twice, at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.
Both sessions will be held in our Musco Center for the Arts, which has limited seating. For this reason, we are requiring registration to attend the kick-off. When signing up for the open house, you will have the option to either:
- Reserve seating for a kick-off session at 10 a.m. or 11 a.m.
- Register without reserving a space at a kick-off session (you will still be able to arrive anytime and take part in all other programming).
We expect both kick-off sessions to reach full capacity. If there are no spaces available, you can register without a kick-off and join a stand-by line the day of the event.

Open House Schedules
At Chapman Annual Open House, we open up much of our campus to potential students and families. This will allow you to explore the areas and facilities—and talk to the people—most relevant to your interests.
Event highlights are below. For a full schedule, dining options, campus map and more, download the Chapman Open House App on your phone.
