The United Greek Council (UGC) at Chapman University governs our socially and culturally oriented fraternities and sororities. Formed to provide a unified voice for underrepresented Greek organizations, UGC promotes leadership, academic achievement, mentorship, service, and cultural awareness.
UGC is committed to fostering a strong, values-based community and advocating for
the growth of its chapters and impact on campus.

Recruitment for United Greek Council (UGC) organizations, often referred to as intake, varies by each chapter. Each organization follows its own timeline and process for welcoming new members. Throughout the semester, chapters host informational sessions, known as interest meetings, where students can learn more about the organization's values, history, and membership expectations.
