Improve Your Venture Funding Readiness

 
RAIse Your Fundability is a six-part, hands-on workshop series designed for founders and key team members of high-growth ventures that will need capital. Participants will use AI tools throughout the series to strengthen the capabilities that increase fundability, including value accounting, entrepreneurial finance, business structure, growth capital preparation, intellectual property strategy, and venture communication.
 
The workshops will be held in person at the Leatherby Center for Entrepreneurship on July 20, 22, and 24 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The six sessions build on each other, helping founders assess their current fundability, develop practical venture materials, and better prepare for future conversations with funders, lenders, and investors.
 
This series is designed to help entrepreneurs move from a promising venture story to a clearer, more fundable business case.

RAIse Your Fundability: Improve Your Venture Funding Readiness is a hands-on program at Chapman University’s Leatherby Center for Entrepreneurship and Business Ethics designed to help founders better prepare their ventures for growth capital. RAIse Your Fundability helps founders identify and improve the areas that influence investor confidence. Participants will work through topics such as value accounting, entrepreneurial finance, growth capital, business structure, intellectual property, and venture communication. The goal is to help founders understand what makes their venture worth funding and how to present that value more clearly to investors. 

4. How does the program use AI to support startup funding readiness?

AI will be used throughout the program to help founders analyze their venture, organize financial and strategic information, improve investor-facing communication, and develop tools that support funding readiness. Participants will learn how to use AI as a practical resource for decision-making, preparation, and storytelling as they move toward raising capital. 

5. When and where does RAIse Your Fundability take place?

RAIse Your Fundability’s initial cohort will take place in person during the week of July 20–24 at Chapman University’s Leatherby Center for Entrepreneurship and Business Ethics. The program is designed as a recurring series and is expected to return in future fall and spring semesters. Virtual participants will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
