»Career Launch Bootcamp

On April 27, 2019 the Leatherby Center hosted a Career Launch Bootcamp for students of the Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, co-sponsored by Dodge and the Argyros School of Business and Economics.

The event featured speakers from multiple disciplines to give Dodge students an introduction to the process they will face when looking to start their own film or production companies.

Speakers included faculty from Chapman University as well as private industry.

The day also included panels with Dodge College alumni, contractors and entrepreneurs to offer their experiences in the industry as well as a networking mixer to conclude the day's events.

The Leatherby Center plans to host similar Career Launch Bootcamps in the future, partnering with other schools and colleges on campus. Details on the next academic units to be featured will be made available as plans are confirmed, but expect one Bootcamp each semester.
